•Description of Artifact: This seminar explained that once students learn Base 10 there are other bases that can be incorporated into math lessons.
•Analysis of Artifact: This seminar provided different math ideas about teaching the various Bases. These Bases were base 2, 10 and 3.
•Reflection: I could see myself using this strategy for a challenge to some students. But for some student Base 10 is difficult enough.

Description of Artifact: This seminar was presented by Tom Heirck.
Analysis of Artifact: Tom Heirck is an educator who now gives seminars about assessment, and the learning pyramid.
Reflection: I learned different ways to engage students in learning and how to assess students authentically. Learning has to be authentic and connect to real life, it is only then that the students truly learn.

Description of Artifact: I learned how to use Chromebooks in the classroom. Many websites were shared and ideas for lessons were given.
Analysis of Artifact: I believe that this will be beneficial to my teaching career. Technology is more prevalent in schools today and I know that it will be in the future. This is the first step in understanding some of the apps and technological teaching that are occurring today in out schools.
Reflection: This was a great professional development seminar for me because I realized how Chromebooks are a useful tool that students and teachers can use to enhance learning.

Analysis of Artifact: Positive management and how to organize your room so students will listen and the class will run smoothly.
Reflection: There were many tips and techniques that I cannot wait to start applying to a classroom. For example the WOW behaviour board which, not only, rewards students for good behaviour but also teaches the students graphing skills.
